Arrested Kidnapper in Thailand

On July 4, 2016, joint elements of CIDG, PRO-18 and AKG served the warrant of arrest of Kidnapping–for-Ransom against Patrick Phillip Gutierrez Alemania, @Bobby/Patrick a member of the Fajardo KFR Group in Bangkok, Thailand.


PSSUPT MANOLO N. OZAETA, newly installed Director of the Anti-Kidnapping Group in his report to CPNP states that Alemania was arrested in the early morning of July 4, 2016 by Royal Thai Police INTERPOL, Royal Thai Rom Klao Police, Royal Thai Immigration and Royal Thai Tourist Police while on his way to school where he teaches in Rom Klao District, Bangkok.

Alemania was the mastermind in the kidnapping of businessman Tony Hui Chua on November 23, 2003. Some of his co-accused were sentenced by the court and now serving their sentence at the New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa City.

After learning that a warrant of Arrest was issued by the court Alemania went to Thailand on Feb 10, 2004 and work as a band member while his wife is a singer at a night club. He enrolled in a Thai language course to obtain a student visa. After learning some Thai language skills, he worked as an English teacher in Language Institute.


Arrested person is now detained at Royal Thai Immigration detention center while his papers are being processed, he will be deported back to the Philippines on July 9, 2016.

The successful arrest of the wanted kidnapper is the result of a strong relationship of the PNP, Royal Thai Police and International Police Agency through the constant exchange of information in the fight against Terrorism and other forms of Criminality.
