Ramil Madriaga, leader of the Madriaga Kidnap for Ransom Group, and four (4) others had been under investigation for their involvement in a kidnapping incident last June 2022 victimizing two (2) Filipino-Chinese nationals which resulted in the loss of an esteemed PNP AKG Officer during their confrontation. The PNP AKG successfully recovered a total of 10 firearms belonging to the suspect. One (1) firearm was recovered during the operation on July 12, 2023, while the other 9 were surrendered to authorities on July 19, 2023. This Group facilitated the surrender of firearms to the Civil Security Group with Atty. Law enforcement agencies assure the public that every effort is being made to ensure the swift resolution of the case and bring all those involved to justice.
