Camp BGen Rafael T Crame, Quezon City- In a concerted effort to combat the rising threat of kidnapping for ransom cases in the Philippines, the Philippine National Police Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG) in coordination with PBGEN JACK L WANKY, DRDO, NCRPO/ Task Force Commander, celebrated the Kick Off Ceremony of the 28th Police Community Relations Month at XINCHUANG NETWORK TECHNOLOGY INC, situated in Las Piñas City through an extensive information drive and posting of AKG posters. The campaign aims to raise awareness among employees, particularly those working in the Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO) industry, about kidnapping prevention and the importance of immediate reporting.

The Anti-Kidnapping Group, a specialized unit under the Philippine National Police, recognizes the significance of educating individuals on the risks associated with kidnapping for ransom crimes and equipping them with the necessary knowledge to protect themselves and their colleagues. With Xinchuang Network Technology Inc being one of the companies in the POGO industry, the initiative holds particular relevance for the safety and security of its employees.

As part of the information drive, PNP AKG representatives conducted informative lectures and seminars on kidnapping prevention at the XINCHUANG NETWORK TECHNOLOGY INC premises. These sessions focus on raising awareness about common tactics employed by kidnappers, early warning signs, and effective preventive measures. By empowering employees with this knowledge, the AKG hopes to enhance their ability to identify and respond to potential threats.

Furthermore, posters related to kidnapping prevention, prominently displaying hotline numbers and emergency contacts, have been strategically placed throughout the XINCHUANG NETWORK TECHNOLOGY INC office spaces. These posters serve as a constant reminder and quick reference for employees to seek immediate assistance if they encounter suspicious activities or witness any signs of potential danger.

PBGEN RODOLFO D CASTIL, JR Director, AKG, emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts between law enforcement and private entities in curbing the menace of kidnapping for ransom. He stated, “By engaging with organizations like XINCHUANG NETWORK TECHNOLOGY INC, we can reach a larger audience and create a stronger defense against these criminal acts. We are committed to working closely with the private sector to ensure the safety of employees and protect the integrity of businesses.”

The Group’s information drive at XINCHUANG NETWORK TECHNOLOGY INC signifies a significant step forward in the collective fight against kidnapping for ransom cases. It stands as a testament to the commitment of law enforcement agencies and private enterprises to safeguard the well-being of employees and maintain a secure environment within the POGO industry.

With the PNP AKG’s proactive efforts and the active participation of organizations like XINCHUANG NETWORK TECHNOLOGY INC, it is hoped that the knowledge and awareness gained through this campaign will contribute to a safer and more secure working environment in Las Piñas City and beyond.
